Listen to John Dern\, a Temple University professor\, give dramatic readings of various works by Edgar Allan Poe. He will answer any questions you have about Poe. Come enjoy this fireside presentation. Bring your own chair and hot drink. Get in the mood for Halloween! This program is intended for ages 16 and up.\nPlease be aware that only the main entrance off of Swamp Road/413 will be open. All other entrances will be locked and closed\, mainly the one off of 332/Newtown-Richboro Road

SUMMARY:Big Day for Birds
DESCRIPTION:Join us as we celebrate October Big Day by observing and recording various bird sightings in Tyler State Park! Participants will learn how to use the Merlin and ebird apps to help identify and record the birds they will possibly see during a short hike. These recordings will help create a snapshot of the birds found in the park and contribute to scientific data that helps scientists study bird populations\, migration\, and behavior\, contributing to important bird conservation efforts. Please bring binoculars and any bird field guides. We will meet at the Boathouse.\nAll ages are welcome. As we are trying to see birds\, dogs are discouraged from attending as they might scare away the birds
