Volunteer with Friends of Tyler State Park

Friends of Tyler State Park is a volunteer-led chapter of the Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation, created to support Tyler State Park and help protect what makes it special.

Our mission is simple and serious at the same time:
to preserve, promote, and care for the park’s educational, recreational, natural, and historical resources while building a community that actually shows up.

Either way, thank you for caring about Tyler State Park and helping keep it strong for the long haul.

Small actions. Real impact.

Friends of Tyler State Park is a community of people who care enough to help. Whether you volunteer your time, lend your skills, or support the park financially, you’re playing a role in protecting a place that matters. No fluff. Just steady, meaningful work that keeps Tyler State Park healthy, accessible, and worth passing on.

Built by Neighbors, Not Committees

This group exists because local people decided the park was worth protecting and they were willing to do something about it.
